The new Waterstones bookshop in Welwyn Garden City will be officially opened on Saturday.
There will be a Peter Rabbit-themed family fun day following the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11am.
To coincide with the launch of the new Waterstones branch in Howardsgate, the WHT has set up the Welwyn Hatfield Times Book Club.
The Welwyn Hatfield Times has teamed up with retailer Waterstones to offer readers discounts on certain titles – and we want your reviews of the books as well.
Each month, staff at the UK’s leading high street bookseller will choose a novel for readers to enjoy, the first of which is Curtain Call by Anthony Quinn.
A poignant and gripping story about love and death and a society dancing towards the abyss, the Sunday Express described it as “unputdownable”.
Readers can get 20 per cent off the title using the voucher printed in this week’s edition of the Welwyn Hatfield Times.
The best literary reviews of the monthly book will also appear in print and on our website.
Send your reviews to comps@whtimes.co.uk
The discount voucher can be used in both the Waterstones stores in Howardsgate, WGC, and The Galleria, Hatfield.
Copies of the Welwyn Hatfield Times will be available to buy in both shops as well.
Only newsprint vouchers will be accepted, no photocopies.
The offer expires on Wednesday, August 19.
This is also the last date we can receive reviews from readers.
