Outdoor movies under the stars will return to Knebworth House later this year with Dirty Dancing and Bond on The Luna Cinema agenda.

The Luna Cinema will be back at Knebworth House for three nights in August.

Films are due to be screened in the grounds of the Hertfordshire stately home over the weekend of Friday, August 5 to Sunday, August 7.

Daniel Craig, Patrick Swayze and Hugh Grant classics are all line-up for Knebworth Park with Spectre (12), Dirty Dancing (12) and Notting Hill (15) on the bill.

The most recent James Bond film Spectre is the big Friday night movie at Knebworth on August 5.

The Bond blockbuster won Hertfordshire singer Sam Smith an Oscar for best original song for number one single Writing’s On the Wall.

Dirty Dancing follows in 007’s footsteps on the Saturday night.

Nobody will be putting Baby in the corner on August 6 as Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey star in the hugely popular American romantic drama.

Romantic comedy Notting Hill, starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts, rounds off The Luna Cinema’s 2016 film nights at Knebworth on August 7.

Doors will open at 7pm each night, with the films screened around 8.45pm, although the performance start time is approximate – it may vary slightly depending on the conditions on the night.

The Luna Cinema will pitch up at Hatfield House for three nights from Friday, August 26 to Sunday, August 28.

The films being shown at Hatfield are Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Grease and Labyrinth.

Pre-sale tickets are available now.

They cost £13.50 general admission, and £9 children (ages 12 to 15 years).

Tickets go on general sale on Friday, April 8.
