A family fireworks spectacular promises a ‘Galaxy of Stars’ in Cheshunt for Bonfire Night this year.
Broxbourne’s much-loved festival of fireworks is back this year.
Fireworks will return to Cheshunt Park on Sunday, November 6, 2016.
With support from the borough council, a company called Mothership will present the fireworks display, and the theme will be ‘Galaxy of the Stars.’
The display will be performed alongside modern chart-topping music to keep spectators fully entertained for the duration of the 20-minute pyrotechnic display.
Gates to the Park Lane site open at 4.30pm, with the fireworks scheduled for 6.30pm.
In association with Hoddesdon Loves Music, The Honkies will be playing a live set on stage to keep visitors entertained.
The band’s set list combines rock classics by Hendrix, Bowie, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, with vintage soul by Motown, Sam Cooke and The Jackson 5, and well known favourites by Paul Weller, Carole King and Oasis.
There will also be a food and drink village with a licensed bar, street food stalls and face painting for children.
Tickets can be purchased online in advance or in person from the Spotlight, The John Warner Sports Centre, The Laura Trott Leisure Centre, the council offices and Cheshunt Park Golf Centre.
General admission tickets cost £7.50 and children under five go free.
