A spectacular free fireworks display will be held for Stevenage residents on November 5.
The borough council’s Bonfire Night extravaganza will take place at Millennium Lake, in Fairlands Valley Park.
The fireworks display is extra special this year as it is one of the final celebratory events to mark the 70th anniversary of Stevenage as a New Town.
It starts at 7.30pm and spectactors will be able to see the display from all parts of Fairlands Valley Park.
Free parking is also available at the south field of Fairlands Valley Park, opposite Stevenage FC’s football stadium.
To help organisers manage a safe and enjoyable event, visitors are not allowed to bring their own fireworks or sparklers.
