There will be fireworks above a football pitch in Welwyn Garden City for Bonfire Night.
Welwyn Garden City Football Club’s now annual fireworks extravaganza will take place at the Citizens’ ground on Friday, November 4, 2016.
As well as a stunning fireworks display, there will be children’s fairground rides, side stalls, food stalls, and an outdoor bar at the Herns Way club.
Gates open at 6.30pm.
There are a number of ticket options.
A pass for two adults and two children over five costs £15.
A ticket for one adult and two children over five is £10.
A group of three teenagers (12-16) will pay £10, while it is £5 for a single adult/teenager (12-16).
Under-fives go free.
• A Welwyn Garden City school will also be holding a fireworks event on Guy Fawkes Night, after raising £4,000 at last year’s display.
Harwood Hill JMI and Nursery School will again showcase two Bonfire Night displays.
The first will be a low-noise one for young children, followed by a main display.
The event will be at the Harwood Close school on Saturday, November 5, with gates opening from 5pm.
The child-friendly show will be around 6.30pm, with the main display following at 7pm.
Entry is £6 per adult, £3.50 per child, and three years and under are free.
