As South West Four takes a quantum leap into its 14th year, the biggest event in London’s clubbing calendar now represents an August Bank Holiday weekend ritual for electronic music enthusiasts from all over the world.

Showcasing the greatest DJs and live electronic artists, plus top arena hosts, this year will mix state-of-the-art production with increased sound levels.

So festival-goers can enjoy headliners Eric Prydz and deadmau5 and a stellar cast of other electronic music stars even more.

A spokesman for the festival said: “SW4 favourite Eric Prydz will be our next headliner for Saturday August 26.

“Respected by his peers, loved by millions of fans, the Swede has become an icon to many worldwide.

“From masterpieces like OPUS to sell-out arena shows, everything he touches turns to gold.

“Recent months have seen him sell out the 15,000 capacity Steelyard event in Victoria Park in less than 48 hours, headline festivals around the world and work on his hugely anticipated PRYDA 2017 album.

“With brand-new material set to come out ahead of the summer, we can’t wait to welcome this undisputed master back to his traditional hunting ground.”

The headliner on Sunday, August 27, has been revealed as robot rodent headed phenomenon deadmau5.

The Canadian, real name Joel Zimmerman, has been described as a “visionary”, “pioneer” and “a genius” (or possibly “geniu5”).

Deadmau5 is regarded amongst the elite of electronic music artists and has an ‘enormau5’ worldwide following.

He has a new album ready to tour, but fans will also be looking forward to hearing his gleaming back catalogue, with tracks such as ‘Ghosts ‘N’ Stuff’, ‘Faxing Berlin’, ‘Raise Your Weapon’ and ‘Sometimes Things Get Complicated’ sure to raise the roof (if there was one).

Also on the bill are draw-dropping live act Pendulum, who are no strangers to Hertfordshire, following gigs at The Forum Hertfordshire, in Hatfield, and at Sonisphere Festival 2010 at Knebworth.

They will play Clapham Common on Saturday, August 26, with tickets selling fast for their first UK show in six years.

Pendulum members Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen will also perform on Sunday, August 27 as their alter ego Knife Party.

This will be the first time Pendulum and Knife Party have both performed at a UK festival.

Support across the festival includes leading lights like Marco Carola, MK, Maya Jane Coles, Sigma, Duke Dumont, Hannah Wants, MistaJam, Gareth Emery, Pan Pot and more being announced all the time.
