Fans of Folk by the Oak have until the end of the month to get super early bird tickets for the all-day festival at Hatfield House this summer.

FBTO 2018 will return to the grounds of the Hertfordshire stately home on Sunday, July 15.

Tickets cost £33.50 per adult until midnight on Wednesday, January 31, with the price rising to £37 from February 1 until March 31.

Billy Bragg, Eliza Carthy & The Wayward Band, The Young’Uns and Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys are already announced for the Main Stage, with more to follow.

CC Smugglers, Stick in the Wheel, and Alden, Patterson & Dashwood will play the smaller Acorn Stage.

A Folk by the Oak spokeswoman said: “Unlike many other festivals we don’t limit the number of early bird tickets, so you still have until midnight January 31 to get your tickets for just £33.50 per adult, or £95 for a family ticket.”

The music festival will take over the Queen Elizabeth Oak Field in the grounds of Hatfield House the day after the annual Battle Proms picnic concert.

Gates will open at noon with the first Acorn act on stage about 30 minutes later.

The all-day festival will finish around 10.30pm after a fireworks finale.

Adult tickets will cost £45 on the day of the festival, subject to availability, making the early bird price good value.

Children aged five to 15 pay £18 at all times, and the festival is free for youngsters aged four and under.
