Potters Bar Town are in the middle of a miserable period and it shows no signs of stopping after two defeats in three days.
The Scholars were first beaten 4-0 at home to Cray Wanderers on Saturday before their trip to Carshalton Athletic on Monday ended in a 2-1 reverse, Brandon Adams getting the only goal.
It means they have now gone six Isthmian League Premier Division games without a win and seven if you include the FA Trophy defeat at Biggleswade Town.
There were mitigating circumstances in the loss at Carshalton, first-choice centre-half pairing Rickie Hayles and Ronnie Henry both missing, but Saturday's loss left him frustrated and disappointed.
He said: "We weren't at our best for sure in the first half but we did have moments just before the break to go 1-0 up.
"Then a little bit of indecision and a little mistake and we go in 1-0 down.
"We have to take more accountability. We had to make changes with suspensions and injuries and a bout of illness but the players coming in have to do a little bit more and take on more responsibility.
"We didn't do that.
"We've had indifferent performances [in this run] but there have games that we've lost where I thought we'd played well but again those little individual errors that we need to cut out, we're not doing that at the moment.
"But there is no reason to panic. We've been in games and we've been in scenarios like this before, we've been here for two years now, and we just need a response.
"We need hard work, our foundations of who we are are built on hard work and energy and getting around the pitch.
"That's the simple message, nobody else can turn it around."
Potters Bar now go to second-placed Cray Valley Paper Mills on Saturday.
