North Mymms claimed third in the Herts Cricket League Premier Division thanks to a last day victory.
They beat Totteridge Millhillians at Home Farm by 23 runs to jump above the north London side in the final standings.
Opting to bat first, they made 258-9 in their 50 overs, built on an 84-run partnership for the first wicket between Andy Lewis and Yuvresh Malhotra, both exiting on 35.
Once the first went though, another two followed in the next six balls and it needed 46 from Zaid Kureshi, eventually supported by 62 from Richard Soulsby to settle the ship and get Mymms to their final total.
In reply, Totteridge were always just above the required run rate and when they reached 10 overs to go at 198-6, they seemed set to kick on.
Eight runs had come off the first five balls of the 41st over before Rhys Wynne picked up the key wicket of William O'Donnell for 60.
The visitors were still creeping towards the win but when Sabarish Ganesh left them eight down in the 44th over on 222, the momentum was swinging towards Mymms.
Richard Oxley and Dharmarajsinh Jhala wrapped up the win although it was Malhotra who was the pick of the bowlers with 3-39.
Potters Bar and Old Owens saw their disappointing season end in defeat.
Owens were already down before the final day but could not go out with a bang, losing by two wickets at Hertford.
Brad Lane top-scored with 57 as they made 192 batting first but the home side reached the target in the 43rd over, all despite 4-34 from Tej Thakkar.
Potters Bar had seen their hopes of the title vanish one week earlier and it was new champions Harpenden who delivered the exclamation point to the season with a crushing 143-run success at the Common.
The hosts smashed 290-9 in their 50 overs, 110 of them from Cole Briggs, aided by 78 in 58 deliveries from Harry Seagrave.
Thilan Walallawita took 3-59 for Bar but their batsmen were not in form and succumbed for 147.
It could have been a lot worse too, with the score at 85-9 at one point and only a defiant last-wicket stand from Luke Chapman (26*) and Jigar Mehta (35) raised the score up.
