Garden City Runners head into the final round in Division Two of the Midweek Road Race League still on top of the table.
The third of four rounds took place in Royston and while this wasn't as successful as the previous two, both won by GCR, the Welwyn Garden City club still hold an advantage over Dacorum.
The club ended the evening in third, the same position earned by the men and one higher than that of the women.
Bradley Birch came third on the night, with Chris Baylis 13th and James Huish 15th.
The women were led home by Zoe Stephens in 12th with Katherine Farrell 18th and Julia Wiper round out the top 20.
Host club Royston Runners ended the night as round winners ahead of Ware Joggers.
Round four is at Trent Park on June 27 with the mob match, the night where teams across all three divisions run together, is back at its Ridgeway Academy base on July 10.
Elsewhere, a squad of GCRs took on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path challenge.
It had plenty of ups and downs as expected, as well as gravel descents and uneven paths, and there was a choice of either 50k or 50-mile distances.
Martin Mitchell led the trio doing the longer distance, clocking 12 hours 43 minutes 45 seconds, with Thippawan Rashleigh (15:29:40) and Kath Evans (15:34:59) the others.
In the 50k event, Anna Lillie was the first from the club to finish in 8:31:59 followed by Roger Adey (8:32:08), Barbara Kubis-Labiak (9:09:12), Johan Preis (9:27:35), Alex Yates (9:52:29) and Sidney Valentine (10:14:19).
Spencer White did the Cotswolds Middle-Distance Triathlon, just south of Cirencester.
Consisting of a 2k swim, a 90k bike ride and a 21.1k run, he set a PB for a middle-distance tri, finishing in 5:28.
He was also second fastest for the bike section.
Two more also opted for a triathlon, Richard Robinson and James Dunmore competing in the Ironman Switzerland near Zurich.
They had to contend with a shortened swim of 750m due to a wet build-up to the event but were then given some spectacular scenery over the 84.6k bike ride, with "one epic climb".
The finishing leg of a 20.8k run included a climb of 55 steps up to the castle.
Dunmore finished in 5:45 with Robinson 20 minutes in front of that.
