Potters Bar Hockey Club had all their teams back in action after the Christmas break and they almost produced a clean sweep of wins.
The ladies continued their recent fine run of results as their squad of just 10 players went to Bishop's Stortford and returned with a 5-1 win.
Nicki Hughes got three of them with Shayna Godin and a penalty flick from Kate Fitton completing the victory.
The men's first team started 2024 off positively with a much-needed 2-1 win at home to Hertford in Division One South.
Miles Tomkins and Ed Whybrow got the goals that lift them out of the bottom three.
The thirds maintained their promotion push in Division Four South West, beating Welwyn Garden City 5-0 with Aryan Walia (two), Simon Kelly, Ben Cade and James Atkinson on target.
The fourths won too, beating Harpenden 4-1 with Danny Becker, Josh Becker, Liam Frame and Matthew Fretter their scorers.
They are now third in Division Seven.
The seconds were the only side that failed to secure maximum points, although they did get one in a 1-1 draw against Harpenden.
Warren Edmondson got their goal to leave them fifth in Division Three.
