Panshanger Golf Club  have already had plenty to celebrate in 2023 but it is not about to end just yet.

Having lifted the Clapham Shield competition in September, they have gone out to clinch the title in the Herts Friendly League.

This is an annual competition played against the clubs of Rickmansworth, Batchwood, Little Hay and Haste Hill.

Teams play the other clubs each as a home & away fixture between April and October and when the dust settled, Panshanger were on top of the tree.

Panshanger were led by club captain Matt French with support from Mick Nelson, Brian Cawley, Richard Nicholls, Jack Hanson, Nick Agnoli, Lewis Graham, Tony Culshaw, Chris Chabauty, Tony Ashforth, Phil Bawden and Calvin Keighley.
