Welwyn Garden City Sailing Club were forced to postpone their annual Punchbowl Race due to the forecast of high winds at Stanborough Lakes. 

And in the end, only four helms decided to ignore the forecast and sail the alternative pursuit race on offer.

Annette Walter led the first race from start to finish.

Angelo Hansen kept with her for three quarters of the race but finally capsizes caught up with him and he slipped back and was overtaken by David Lambert and Michael Caddy.

In race two, Lambert caught Walter as they went into the last lap, Caddy was again third and Hansen fourth.
