Welwyn Garden City Golf Club had plenty to celebrate at the county championship - winning both individual and team titles.
Held at The Hertfordshire G&CC just outside of Hoddesdon, the County Boys U18 Championship saw 37 competitors take part with handicaps ranging from +2 to 11.
And returning champion Harry Cox from the Mannicotts club was able to tame the weather and the opposition to claim another title.
The morning round ended with a surprise leader, 15-year-old three handicapper Henry Dowsett of Bishop's Stortford carded his best ever score with a three-under-par 67.
That gave him a three-shot lead over Cox and Noah Peters of West Herts, both on 70, level par, but it was tight behind them with a further seven players within another two shots.
Cox though up his game in the afternoon, showing his class to return a two-under 68 for a total of 138.
That was good enough to reclaim his title by two shots from Peters who shot another 70, Daniel Colkett of the home club coming through to finish third after a 67.
Ben Sessions of Bishop's Stortford had been just pushed off the podium by that but did have the consolation of the runner up position in the Malcolm Reid Trophy, the U16 competition which was also won by Cox.
Dowsett returned a five-over 75 in the afternoon for a score of 142 and fifth overall.
Cox though will now go to the England Golf Boys Champion of Champions event, played at Woodhall Spa in September, where he will also represent Hertfordshire the following day in the Men's Champion of Champions event, after his stunning win at Moor Park in June.
But Cox's two trophies wasn't the end of the silverware coming his or Welwyn Garden City's way.
His score contributed to WGC claiming the Boys Team Champions flag, with solid back-up by Patrick Donovan and Louie Bloxham.
They returned a best two from three scores per round aggregrate gross score of 281, winning by two shots from West Herts.
