Welwyn Wheelers have continued a wonderful habit - producing talented youngsters who go on to win British championships.
Henry Hobbs got things going when he became U16 men’s National Circuit Race champion.
Successive weekends then saw Hobbs become youth omnium champion as well as winning gold medals in the scratch, 2km pursuit and madison, partnered with Dylan Sage, at the National Track Championships in Newport.
His pursuit time of two minutes 12.369 seconds set a national record in the process.
In the women’s youth category Ellie Mitchinson won a bronze medal in the sprint and came ninth in the omnium.
Esmee Bone finished in the same place in the U14 category.
Elijah Storti, Asher and Iris Gray also placed well in the youth B category.
Serial striped jersey winner, Leon Atkins, was not to be outdone though and he added two more British titles to his bulging trophy case with wins in the XCC and XCO races at the British Cycling National Cross Country Mountain Bike Championships.
Daniel Elliott finished 17th in the Juvenile XCC race.
A spokesman for the club said: "Well done to everyone. We are all very proud of you."
