Louis Champion led a huge run fest with a double century as Knebworth Park powered to a massive win over Letchworth.
The former Welwyn Garden City man finished exactly on an unbeaten 200 as Park stormed to a 207-run victory in Division Two B of the Herts Cricket League.
His innings included 26 fours and six maximums, helping to put on 245 for the fourth wicket with Charlie Randall.
It was Champion's first double century and only the second in club history, Australian T20 star Nathan Reardon being the other.
Champion's partner in crime was also celebrating though, his 102 not out being the first time he has reached three figures.
It was a poignant moment for the pair who came through the Park ranks in the same junior sides.
For Knebworth though it was all part of a mammoth 383-3 in their 50 overs.
Letchworth's young left arm pace bowler, Dylan Williams, impressed at times but sadly felt the brunt of the batting onslaught.
Zac Hayes' leg spin did have some joy though and he finished on 2-30
Letchworth knew they had a mountain to climb in reply but they did themselves no favours with the loss of three early wickets.
Kobie Richmond's 4-59 was also a contributing factor while new Park skipper Matt Hutchinson bagged 3-46.
It meant Letchworth finished on 176 with 39 from Liam Bishton and Joe Randall's 33 their top scores.
There was bitter disappointment for the four WHT sides in the Premiership.
Welwyn Garden City lost by two wickets away to leaders Totteridge Millhillians.
They had set 214 batting first, Alex Chalker hitting 76 and Radhakrishna Marripati getting 53, but despite Simon Bridgewater leading the fight against the home side's reply with 3-21, Totteridge were able to sneak across the line with more than four overs to spare.
Potters Bar suffered their first loss of the campaign, going down by 43 runs at home to Radlett.
They were chasing a target of 265, skipper Luke Chapman and Thilan Walallawita each claiming two wickets, but even though eight of their batsmen reached double figures, Esam Rahman's 30 was the closest to their top score of the day of 50 from James Seward.
There was at least some late fun as Jigar Mehta (14) and Teddy Duke (12*) threatened a miracle victory, having come together at 194-9.
They put on 27 for the final wicket in 30 deliveries before Mehta was caught and bowled by Suhaib Ahmad.
Old Owens lost by 52 runs at home to Bishop's Stortford after a batting collapse.
They had reached 163 chasing 229 when Rhys Carter was the second man out, and from there they managed just 13 more runs in 10 overs.
Matthew Plater scored 79 while there was 45 from fellow opener Trystan Kennedy. Jake Whickham took two wickets with the ball.
North Mymms completed the miserable afternoon with a five-wicket loss at home to West Herts.
Batting first they managed 239-7 with 58 from Zaid Kureshi and able support from Andy Lewis (38*), Nesan Jeyaratnam (36), Guganeshan Muralitharan (33) and Neil Bamford (32).
But the Watford-based visitors were able to scamper home with eight balls remaining, Yuvresh Malhotra the best of the Mymms bowlers with 2-68.
