A new racing series at Welwyn Garden City Sailing Club got off to a slow start despite near perfect conditions.
The weather should have tempted many more sailors out onto Stanborough Lakes but with many of the regulars on safety boat duty, it was a reduced fleet that got under way.
Angelo Hansen took full advantage of the situation though with a clean sweep.
He started by winning the burgee racing by claiming a first and second place in the two races and followed that up by taking the Wee Auld Mug for two wins in the personal handicap competition.
To add even more sparkle to his day, he was also first junior.
David Lambert and Charles Adams were left trailing in his wake.
Lambert was second overall after placing third and first while Adams, the commodore of the club, was third after coming second and third in the two outings.
