The popular ATW Welwyn Half Marathon is set to return this April.
The 13.1 mile marathon will be held at Gosling Sports Park in Welwyn Garden City on Sunday, April 2, at 9am.
The event organisers said: “This event is more than just a run.
“You’ll be warmed up with personal trainers, welcomed home by a professional commentator and your cheer-squad will be kept fed and watered by quality caterers while you run.”

The run will cost £31 to enter and will operate with a three hour cut off time, after which there will not be marshals and course signage available.

For the marathon route, you will be directed out of the stadium, towards the Cole Green Way – a disused railway line which is now a perfect traffic-free track to run along.
After this traffic-free section, you will complete a short loop to bring you back onto the Cole Green Way.
You then complete the first section in reverse and finish on the track at Gosling Sports Park.
A free 400m Children’s Fun Run will also take place on the running track 30 minutes before the half marathon starts.
