Hatfield Swimming Club had a competition to remember as they swept the board at the East Region Championships.
Held at Inspire Luton Sports Village, Hatfield’s pink army ignored the strength of the field, which included the best from across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and beyond, and brought their A-game to the pool.
It brought a whole host of medals as well as achieving some hugely important national qualifying times.
The mixed medley and the men's medley teams, as well as the men’s freestyle team, all triumphed as regional champions and there were fine performances on an individual levels.
Siblings James and Jess Woodward performed brilliantly in the 100m and 200m butterfly and the 100 individual medley.
Notable swims were also returned from Caitlin Hartley in the 100m and 200m breaststroke and from Ashley Ransome who took gold in the 50m breaststroke.
