A new reality TV series launches on ITV this week, which follows the lives of some of the nation’s favourite soap stars.

Drama Queens is set to provide viewers with “an exclusive journey into the lives of Britain’s soap royalty”.

It will feature personalities from Hollyoaks, Coronation Street and Emmerdale “taking viewers beyond the scripted drama of the screen” and into their real lives.

What is Drama Queens on ITV about?

Focused on Manchester and the North West, the show promises exclusive access to the cast’s professional commitments, as they juggle late-night finishes, photo shoots, and last-minute line learning, with their family lives.

Viewers can expect an inside look at the real, unscripted lives of these beloved actresses, going behind the scenes of red-carpet events, awards ceremonies, house moves, and precious family moments. 

With the soap stars leading interconnected lives, the series introduces the genuine friendship groups between them.

When is Drama Queens on ITV?

Drama Queens launches on ITVBe and ITVX on Wednesday, April 10 at 9pm.

There are eight hour-long episodes in total which will air at the same time/day each week.

The last episode of Drama Queens will air on May 29.
