A tea room which has operated in Welwyn for more than a decade has closed down, but the business will continue its delivery service.
Laura Kate, which opened at 15 High Street 11 years ago, shut for the final time on November 30, with a Pilates studio set to move in.
"Our tea room will be closed permanently as of November 30, and a Reformer Pilates studio will be opening in its place in the New Year," a Facebook post read.
"We have been supported by our cake orders and takeaway afternoon teas so we have decided after 11 years of trade in the village to focus on our cakes and takeaway afternoon teas, which will be made remotely and be available for delivery."
The Welwyn Hatfield Times contacted Laura Kate for further comment, but is yet to receive a response.
