The AGMS Foundation has received a £1,000 donation during a special ceremony at Hatfield's Asda store,
On Friday, November 29, Asda's Community Champion Beverly Ashdown presented volunteers with the cheque, which will help Welwyn Hatfield families in need.
This contribution aims to enhance AGMS Foundation’s opportunities for local families in need, particularly as they prepare for the challenging winter months ahead.
Beverly said: “It’s a privilege for Asda to support AGMS Foundation. We are dedicated to making a positive impact in our community, and I hope this donation helps empower families and provides essential resources for those in need.”
The donation will bolster AGMS Foundation's vital projects, especially as the winter season approaches, when financial hardships for families may develop.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Beverly Ashdown and the ASDA team for their generous donation” said Sunita, Ambassador of AGMS Foundation.
“This support empowers us to continue providing vital resources to the community, especially to vulnerable families. Together, we are making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.”
Additionally, AGMS Foundation serves as a food bank distributor in Hatfield Town Centre, on the last Friday of every month from 10am to 12pm.
