Laser Quest Hatfield welcomed customers to its new town centre venue last weekend.

The state-of-the-art venue has taken over 74 to 78 Town Centre, with Welwyn Hatfield Mayor, Cllr Frank Marsh, cutting the ribbon to officially open the site.

He was joined deputy mayor, Cllr Lynn Chesterman, the leader of the council, Cllr Max Holloway and other council members to enjoy a tour.

"Designed for visitors of all ages, players are kitted out with state-of-the-art body packs and futuristic laser phasers, immersing themselves in a thrilling game of skill, agility and teamwork," read a Facebook post from Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council.

"Not only will Laser Quest Hatfield provide fantastic entertainment to residents and visitors but it will also contribute to the vitality of our town centre."

There has been plenty of excitement about the new laser tag venue since it was announced earlier this year, with plenty of customers flocking for a game on opening day.

Individual games are priced at £7.95, while private games start at £500 and birthday party bookings cost £24.99 per person.
