Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council is opening the doors at Oak Hill Lawn Cemetery and Crematorium this Christmas.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, December 7, at 11am.
The service is open to the public and is an opportunity to remember and honour loved ones who have passed away, especially during this festive season.
Visitors will be able to light a candle, leave a personal message on the Christmas tree and hear their loved ones’ names read out during the service.
The service will be held in the Chapel at Oak Hill Lawn Cemetery and Crematorium, which will be open from 10.30am until 12.30pm.
Light refreshments and mince pies will be served after the service.
Councillor Jane Quinton, executive member for leisure and community, said: “We know how difficult it can be to cope with the loss of a loved one, especially at Christmas time.
"That’s why we’re hosting a special service where you can reflect, remember and feel closer to your loved ones. We look forward to seeing you at the service.”
If you cannot attend in person on the day, you can watch the service live from home by visiting oakhill.welhat.gov.uk/christmas-memorial.
