Trainspotters flocked to stations across Hertfordshire as an historic locomotive steamed through the county.
Crowds came out to see 34046 Braunton, a West Country Class Pacific express engine, was carrying passengers from London Kings Cross to York for Steam Dreams Rail Co.
The loco called at Potters Bar and Stevenage this morning, but people still have a chance to see the train on its return journey.
Braunton will be at Stevenage station at 9pm, before arriving at Potters Bar station at 9.15pm.
Built in 1946, the train was mostly based in Bournemouth and used on express services between Waterloo and the West Country.
Braunton also hauled the Royal Train to Portland in 1959, but by 1965 she had been withdrawn from service and sat in scrapyard until 1988 when it was saved for restoration.
