A plot of land earmarked for development in Potters Bar town centre has gone up for sale.
The site in High Street, which is allocated in the emerging Local Plan for a mixed use development, has been listed by estate agent Savills with the price available on application.
The property is occupied by a number of buildings, including the Canada Life Place office building, Maple House office building, the High Street and Princess Parade retail units, flats, a car wash and car parking.
"The property comprises a broadly rectangular brownfield parcel, extending to approximately 1.81 hectares," the listing reads.
"The allocation proposes an indicative figure of 265 dwellings that could be delivered to include some older persons housing and approximately 26,910 sq ft of commercial space to include both office and retail.
"The landowner has instructed various optons for mixed-use residential-led development which demonstrate a greater capacity of residential dwellings.
"Offers are invited on an unconditional and subject to planning basis."
Offers must be made before the 12pm deadline on December 11.
