Two people have been arrested after reports of a burglary in Welwyn Garden City, with a police dog locating discarded property.
Last night (Sunday), following reports of a burglary in Welwyn Garden City, police dog Clio carried out a search of the area and located discarded property.
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of burglary.
A spokesperson for the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire (BCH) Road Policing Unit said: "Thank you Clio! Really great teamwork last night between BCH Police Dogs, BCH Road Policing Unit, and Welwyn Hatfield police.
"Two offenders who had recently left the scene of a burglary [were arrested].
"Enquiries continue at this time."
