A vehicle has been seized in Hatfield after the driver was caught with the wrong licence and insurance.

During a patrol yesterday, Beds Cambs and Herts road policing unit spotted a silver Mercedes on the move, while its passenger was not taking the correct safety precautions.

"Once stopped the driver produced a provisional licence."

"Checks with their insurer revealed no cover, due to them driving outside their licence conditions," the post added.

The vehicle involved was seized by police.
