Hi everyone
I am just full of excitement to be able to tell you about myself!
I just don't think there is a sweeter, more enchanting dog than me, so read on and hopefully you will fall in love with me and want to come and meet me soon!
I am so longing to be a part of my own special family.
My earlier start in life has not been the best and I came to the RSPCA because of concerns over my welfare.
Despite this I am very trusting of people and just love sharing my time with the wonderful staff and volunteers here at Southridge, showering them with kisses and wagging my tail 20 to the dozen.
I am a five-year-old American bulldog cross, and as is typical of my breed intelligent, affectionate and an active girl, who will be loyal and loving to my family.
Yes I do have high energy levels, so my favourite time of day is walkies, particularly when I get to run in the play area here at Southridge, where I enthusiastically charge through the tunnels, leaping up and down the hills and exploring every inch of the compound.
Despite my vivacity I am a very gentle girl, and long to snuggle up on the sofa with my new special people.
I am strong, and although I know the basics, like sit and stay, I do lack some manners on lead at times when my enthusiasm gets the better of me, such as when I see the goats here at Southridge!
However I am very smart and eager to learn, so I will definitely benefit from going to doggie school and just can't wait to make you proud, by showing you how quickly I can learn.
I am such a super-duper friendly dog who requires an active family, either adults only or with older teenage children (but not young ones).
At least for now, I think I would benefit from being the only animal in the home, as I would appreciate your undivided attention.
I will need a secure garden with a sturdy six foot fence where I can frolic and play.
I can be left alone for short periods, with some nice enrichment toys and chews. I also require cuddles, and a cosy place to snuggle with you!
So what's not to like? I am waiting with my doggie bags packed and my smiley face waiting to greet you. Please come and meet me soon!
