A car window has been shattered by a "suspected pellet from a BB gun" after an incident in Potters Bar.
Between 4.30pm and 5pm on Sunday, November 3, a woman was travelling along Mutton Lane in her vehicle, when it was struck by an object believed to have been a pellet from a BB gun, near the junction with Cranborne Road.
The object shattered the rear windscreen, and now police are looking into the incident as a criminal damage offence.
A red hatchback car was following behind the victim at the time.
PC Daniel Hill from the Potters Bar & Shenley Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "I am appealing for information from anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident who may have noticed something suspicious.
"I am also interested in hearing from anyone who has CCTV or doorbell footage from the Mutton Lane area, at the junction with Cranborne Road."
