Sustainable shopping is on the wish list for Isabel Hospice this Christmas.
This festive season, the Welwyn Garden City-based charity is ready to make your holiday shopping a breeze.
From stocking fillers and Secret Santa gifts to Christmas jumpers and dazzling party outfits, your local Isabel Hospice shops have everything you need to celebrate in style.
With 16 locations — soon to be 17 with a new shop opening in Hoddesdon this month — shopping local not only supports our high streets but also contributes to the vital palliative care services the charity provides to the eastern Hertfordshire community.
The charity guarantees on entering any of their shops, you’ll discover a treasure trove of unique, purse-friendly gifts, ensuring you can find something special for everyone on your list.
Charlotte Greenwood, Isabel's head of retail and marketing, said: “This festive period we challenge you to shop sustainably.
"By choosing preloved shopping, you’re making an eco-friendly choice that helps keep quality items, from fashion to toys to homeware and beyond, out of landfill — plus, it’s easy on the bank balance, at what can be a very expensive time of year!”
Charlotte added: “As you explore our shops, we hope you enjoy our creative and thought provoking ‘I’m dreaming of a green Christmas’ themed shop window displays, and don’t forget to check out our selection of Christmas cards, including special ‘landmark’ designs featuring Hoddesdon, Hertford, and Welwyn Garden City.”

About Isabel Hospice
Isabel Hospice has been providing free palliative care to its patients and their families since 1982.
It provides support and care to people in eastern Hertfordshire who are affected by life-limiting illnesses through its community care team of clinical nurse specialists and Hospice at Home service, In-Patient Unit, Living Well with Isabel hub, and its family and bereavement support service.
Isabel’s services are free of charge to those who need them, but they are not without cost, meaning nearly £7 million must be raised each year to guarantee the future of care for eastern Hertfordshire.
In the year 2023-2024, Isabel Hospice supported 1,597 patients — these services included 210 IPU admissions, 1,303 patients cared for by clinical nurse specialists, 424 Hospice at Home patients, 2,144 attendances to the Living Well centre, and 12,461 consultations by the community care team.
