The trial of a woman charged with murdering a man at an address in Welwyn Garden City has begun.
Tuche Coskun, of Central Avenue, Enfield, is accused of killing Gavin Hubbard at a property in Linkfield in the early hours of May 19, with a two-week trial starting on Monday (October 28).
Mr Hubbard, 42, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene despite the best efforts of emergency services.
Coskun, 21, denies murder and a separate charge of grievous bodily harm.
Paying tribute to Mr Hubbard back in May, his family said: "Gavin, the son of Roy and Val, brother of Trev, Tracy and Chris, a dad to Sophie, Jack and Carter and a grandad to three. He was also a loving uncle to many.
"Gav was loved by his family; he was loved by his friends, and he loved so many.
"Despite his troubles he was there for anyone who needed him. He was a wise, kind, funny and loyal man. He will be missed so so much.
"Rest in peace Gav, love you forever."
The trial continues.
