Police are searching for a motorist who failed to stop for officers before fleeing through woodland in Welwyn Garden City.
A Vauxhall Astra, which police believe was linked to criminal activity, has failed to stop for police in the town on three occasions.
On Monday, (October 28), the driver of the vehicle took desperate measures and drove off-road through woodland before abandoned the vehicle and fleeing on foot.
Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team located the Vauxhall shortly afterwards and seized it to continue further enquiries.
The driver has been identified by police, with enquiries ongoing to locate and arrest him for numerous offences.
