Tewinbury Farm's Christmas Light Trail and Santa's Grotto

The 700-acre farm and countryside retreat in Hertford Road will transform into a glittering fairytale destination, filled with stunning light displays that will transport you to the heart of The North Pole.

Expect dazzling tunnels of lights, snow-filled paths, and vibrant LED star waterfalls, whimsical installations, and giant colourful stars and presents.

And no Christmas experience is complete without a visit to Santa’s Grotto.

The 'Farmer Christmas Light Trail & Grotto' at Tewinbury Farm in Hertfordshire kicks off on Thursday, November 28, and will be open on Thursdays to Sundays, from 3.30pm to 8.30pm.

During the Christmas week, from December 23 to January 1, the trail will be open every day — except for Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Early bird tickets are on sale now priced at £15 for adults, £10 for kids, and £5 for Santa's Grotto (includes a gift).

The price is set to increase after October 31.

Tewinbury Farm's Christmas Light Trail map (Image: Tewinbury Farm) Visitors to the light trail will start their Tewinbury journey at the Hertfordshire venue's historic main farmhouse, where you'll be welcomed into a world of festive wonder at the festive garden.

Follow the twinkling woodland trail as it guides you through the ‘Enchanted Archway’ and ‘Cathedral of Light’, a dazzling tunnel of lights that will lead you past ‘Santa’s Sleigh’ into the illuminated ‘Field of Light’.

Here, the farm's trees sparkle with fairy lights, casting a beautiful glow that captures the true essence of the holiday season.

Next you’ll arrive at the ‘Reindeer Run’ and ‘Presents Galore’, where vibrant LED star waterfalls, whimsical installations, and giant colourful stars and presents will leave you in awe. 

No Christmas experience is complete without a visit to Santa’s Grotto, where 'Farmer Santa' awaits with gifts for the little ones.

After meeting Santa, head to the cosy Christmas tent to warm up with delicious seasonal food and festive drinks that will get you in the holiday spirit.
