The Galleria in Hatfield is set to host a range of spooky activities for children this half term.

The shopping centre will transform its soft play area, Get Wild, with Halloween decorations and will be open every day.

Anthony Greener, retail manager at The Galleria, said: "We are thrilled to be offering so much free Halloween entertainment for families over half term.

"We encourage all families to visit Get Wild on their visit too for an even spookier time."

Throughout the week, H'Arts in Mind will host free Halloween workshops on the grassed area near Sports Direct and Regatta on the first floor.

These will run from 11am to 4pm, except the face painting on October 31, which will run from 10am to 4pm.

Children can take part in a Halloween Manga Style Drawing Workshop on October 28, a Monster Sketching Workshop on October 29, and a Giant Monster Community Creation on October 30.

On October 31, children can get their faces painted and on November 1, a Halloween Slime Workshop will be held.

Additionally, from October 26 to October 31, a Halloween costume swap shop will allow families to donate their old costumes and take new ones for free.
