Brave firefighters extinguished a blaze at a commercial unit in Welwyn Garden City last night (October 9).
At 9.07pm, crews were called to reports of a fire at a building in Mundells. Police were called shortly afterwards at 9.13pm to put a road closure in place.
The fire was extinguished using hose reels and covering jets, with a spokesperson for Herts police confirming an investigation is taking place to establish the cause of the fire.
"We were called at 9.13pm following reports of a fire at a commercial building," the spokesperson said.
"We were at the scene to assist with road closures, and enquiries are ongoing to ascertain what caused the fire."
