Violinist Katy Smith will perform a solo with Hertfordshire Philharmonia at their concert in Potters Bar next week.
The concert will take place at 7.30pm on Saturday, October 19 at St Mary's Church in The Walk.
Tickets are available from www.hertsphil.org.uk, by emailing tickets@hertsphil.org.uk, calling 01727 857827 or via Ticket Source.
Adult tickets cost £15, or £1 for children and £4 for students.
Katy will play the Elgar Violin Concerto using Elgar's own bow, which she was given permission to use by string instrument and bow dealer Benjamin Hebbert.
The bow was made in 1878 by English maker James Tubbs, as a gift for Elgar's 21st birthday from the Worcestershire Amateur Musical Society.
After making her concerto debut aged 10, Katy has since performed as a soloist with numerous orchestras throughout the UK and abroad.
She performed as a soloist with the New English Concert Orchestra at the Battle Proms, and was the first soloist to be invited back for a second year running.
