Two uninsured vehicles have been seized by the Welwyn Hatfield Neighbourhood Policing Team.

At around 9.15am on Wednesday, September 18, a moped was spotted being driven erratically in Parkway, Welwyn Garden City.

It was then discovered that the vehicle was uninsured.

The vehicle was seized and the driver was reported for driving without due care and attention.

The following day, another uninsured vehicle was seized in Welwyn Garden City.

This vehicle was seized at around 11.15am in Woodhall Parade after it was spotted in Ludwick Way.

PC Leighton Brown, from the Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “I hope this news reassures residents that officers are out and about working hard to keep you safe.

“Those who think they can get away with driving uninsured vehicle should think twice. The next vehicle we seize could be yours.”
