Hertfordshire is set for more bad weather just days after it was battered by torrential downpours that forced roads and businesses to shut.
A yellow weather warning for rain has been issued for most of England and Wales, including Hertfordshire, from 5pm tomorrow (September 26) until 10am on Friday (September 27).
The forecaster said there is a chance homes and businesses could be flooded, while power cuts and loss of other services are also possible.
Trains and buses could also be disrupted where flooding occurs, and drivers have been warned of difficult conditions and possible road closures.
Rain is expected from around midday in Hertfordshire tomorrow, which will worsen overnight with the heaviest downpours overnight between 10pm and 4am the next day.
It comes just days after the previous yellow weather warning across most of England and Wales on Monday (September 23) which flooded major roads and forced businesses to shut across Hertfordshire.
