A plot of land in Hatfield town centre that has been earmarked for a development of "18 to 22 flats" has been sold.
The site in French Horn Lane, which is home to the Lord William Cecil Memorial Hall, was listed by Space Estates with a guide price of £1.1 million last November.
The 0.228 hectare plot has now been sold, subject to contracts being exchanged between the owner and buyer.
According to the listing, the land could "accommodate a development of 18 to 22 flats".
Land close to French Horn Lane has already been redeveloped as part of the regeneration of Hatfield, with the One Town Centre site opening earlier this year, while work continues on nearby Link Drive.
Lord William Cecil Memorial Hall was first opened in 1968, and named after Lord William Gascoyne-Cecil, a former rector of the parish who became Bishop of Exeter.
The building is currently home to the House on the Rock Christian Ministry and is used by a Slimming World group.
