The family of a man who sadly died in a collision in Hatfield have paid tribute to him.
Keith Whiting was travelling on his mobility scooter in Queensway when he was involved in a collision with a car.
In a tribute, Keith’s family said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Keith Whiting of Hatfield, Hertfordshire, on Thursday, August 15, aged 79.
“A loved father, grandfather, uncle and brother, he will be sadly missed by family and all his friends.
“Funeral details will be announced in due course.”
Police were called at around 9am on Thursday, August 15, to reports of a serious collision in Queensway. Officers attended, along with the East of England Ambulance Service, but Keith was declared dead at the scene.
DC Dale Morris, of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Roads Policing Unit, added: “Our thoughts remain with Keith’s family and friends at this difficult time."
