A planning application has been submitted to build a new home in Hatfield following the demolition of a property already on the site.
The plans, submitted by Mr and Mrs Uchenwoke, would see the current home at 10 Sunnyfield knocked down and replaced with a new two-bedroom home.
The home would be a two-storey build, containing a lounge, bathroom and utility room, with alterations to existing garage and hardstanding also included in the plans.
The build is described in the plans as an entirely self-build or custom housebuilding project".
"The proposed dwelling at 10 Sunnyfield has been meticulously designed to serve as the main residence for a private individual," the planning application reads.
"Given that the application meets all the aforementioned criteria, it qualifies as a self-build or custom build project."
Consultations for the planning application are open until Saturday, September 7.
