The annual Hatfield Community Fair returned earlier this week, with the third instalment hailed a huge success.
Organised by Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council as a part of its BIG Summer event line-up, the fair saw visitors enjoy free children's activities, live entertainment and plenty of stallholders.
The fair took place on Tuesday, August 13, in White Lion Square.
A council spokesperson said: "It was a great event with fun activities, live music, delicious food and lots of community information stalls. Thanks to everyone who joined us and made it special!"
Stallholders were on hand to speak to visitors about their organisations and what support is available to create a stronger community.
Some of the participating groups included:
- Communities’ 1st
- Hertfordshire Health Walks
- Citizens Advice Welwyn Hatfield
- Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council’s Healthy Hub
- Stagecoach
- Resolve
- Herts Dance
- Better Gyms & Leisure
- Willow Foundation
- Herts Young Homeless
Delighted attendees took to social media to praise the event.
One said: “It’s was a great event. The town was so busy. Well done all.”
“It was a great day. I work in Hatfield and it made our day so enjoyable and the band were fabulous,” said another.
