G. S. Pickett Family Butchers in Hertford has been named the winner of a Welwyn Hatfield Times favourite butchers award.
The butchers was established in 1955, and has been at its current site since 1999.
Owner Leo Hayden took over the business in 1991.

When asked how he and the team feel about winning, Leo said the win was "a credit to the lads for all their hard work and commitment".
Asked about plans for the future, Leo said: "We want to carry on serving the community with quality meat and great service - ready to go the extra mile."
G. S. Pickett supplies meat to businesses, caterers and restaurants in Hertford, Stevenage, Enfield, Ware and Welwyn Garden City.
