Dance music fans heading to an Ibiza-inspired concert in Hatfield next month can expect  “a symphony for all your senses”.

Classic Ibiza returns to the grounds of Hatfield House on Saturday, August 17, bringing the unique vibe of the fabled White Isle to Hertfordshire.

Headlined by Stephen Hussey’s 32-piece Urban Soul Orchestra, who have collaborated with the likes of Groove Armada and Robert Miles, the family-friendly concert has already performed to capacity audiences across the country on its 2024 summer tour.

Going by the reaction on Classic Ibiza’s social channels, the Hatfield audience is in for a real treat with shows so far earning rave reviews.

Here’s a selection of what’s been said so far:

  • “From start to finish this was the best! No corners cut on production, the venue is stunning – all staff amazing and the performers were bloody brilliant. Can’t wait for the next one!”
  • “First timer and loved it! Well organised, lovely crowd, great atmosphere, fab tunes…”
  • “Amazing night — every year gets better and better even tho I think that’s not possible!”

Whether you’ve been before, or are a Classic Ibiza debutant, here’s what to expect from this year’s new-look show:

· 5pm: Gates open with a Chill-Out DJ Set. The DJ will be spinning a selection of laidback beats as you settle into the evening over your picnics.

· 6pm: DJ Jose Luis, a former Pacha Ibiza resident, takes control of the decks for his Afro/Latin House set, which includes a live jamming session with members of USO.

· 7pm: USO take centre stage with DJ Goldierocks for the San Miguel Sundowner Set. The set includes a total of 16 tracks, including five new orchestrations from the likes of Moby, CamelPhat and David Morales.

· 8.30pm: Goldierocks performs her Deep House DJ Set. She’ll be dropping a generation-busting mix of Ibiza anthems.

· 9pm: USO and DJ Goldierocks are reunited on stage for The Dance Set. Packed full of 25 house classics, the set includes 11 completely new arrangements and is accompanied by an awesome laser and light show. By the time the concert draws to a close at 10.30pm, you will have been transported to one of the White Isles’ iconic nightclubs.

That's over five hours of Balearic-infused dance anthems.
