A new nine-hole adventure golf course has opened at Hertfordshire attraction Willows Activity Farm.
The opening of the Peter Rabbit-themed course near St Albans is an exciting new addition to the farm’s Summer Spectacular programme, which runs until September 1.
The course — based on lovable CBeebies character Peter Rabbit and his friends — includes holes set in Mr McGregor’s Garden, Jemima Puddleduck’s Coop and Jeremy Fisher’s Pond.
Clubs, balls and scorecards are provided for all visitors who can look forward to a host of obstacles and challenges as they putt their way around the themed fairway.
And when players reach the ninth hole, the ball disappears down the rabbit hole!
Lyssa Elster, chief executive at Willows Activity Farm, said: “We ran a poll at the start of this year to find out what new activity guests would like to see at Willows.
"Golf was the winner and we’re thrilled to be opening it to the public this summer.”
The Summer Spectacular event also sees the return of the A-maize-ing Maze, grown entirely from corn maize, a daily foam party for guests, as well as the arrival of new character, Jemima Puddleduck, who will be joining Peter Rabbit and his friends everyday on the outdoor show stage.
As the golf attraction opens, Lyssa added: “We have a superb programme of entertainment lined up for visitors to Willows this summer.
"Whatever the great British weather decides to do we have plenty of indoor and outdoor activities to keep everyone entertained everyday of the school summer holidays.”
The Summer Spectacular takes place between July 20 to September 1, 2024.
Tickets include all activities, shows and adventure play and can be purchased in advance online with savings on family tickets.
Willows Activity Farm is set in the Hertfordshire countryside, 200 metres off Junction 22 of the M25 in Coursers Road, London Colney.
