Shocking footage captured a brawl between England fans watching last Sunday's Euro 2024 at a Welwyn Garden City pub.

Videos from The Doctors Tonic pub in Church Road show a number fans throwing punches and kicks at each other, with some knocked to the floor.

A glass can be heard and seen being smashed, as concerned football fans flee to get away from the brawl, before security arrives to break up the incident.

The incident was one of a number across Hertfordshire and the UK following England's 2-1 defeat to Spain in the Euro 2024 final.

In Hertford, two men were stabbed during a brawl in the town centre, with three men arrested on suspicion of affray.

Herts police confirmed to the Welwyn Hatfield Times that officers were not called to The Doctors Tonic on Sunday, but did respond to reports of an assault in Church Road at around 9.52pm. Officers attended and did an area search, but no victim was found.

This newspaper also reached out to Doctors Tonic owners Greene King for comment, but did not receive a response.

England's defeat in Sunday's final was their second in as many tournaments, having lost to Italy in the Euro 2020 showpiece.

It signalled the end of Gareth Southgate's near eight-year reign as Three Lions boss, with the 53-year-old resigning on Tuesday following criticism from supporters.
