Polling day is finally here, and the Welwyn Hatfield Times will have all the latest tonight as results are announced.
Parties have been busy campaigning, polling cards have been sent out and today voters will cast their votes in the first general election since 2019.
Polling stations will be open between 7am and 10pm.
The Welwyn Hatfield Times will be running live coverage throughout the night on Thursday, bringing you live results as they come in, pictures, video, national updates and analysis.
Grant Shapps will be hoping to be re-elected as the Conservative candidate, but is set to face a challenge from Labour's Andrew Lewin, Liberal Democrat John Munro, Reform UK's Jack Aaron and Green Party candidate Sarah Butcher.
