The popular Welwyn Festival proved a big success once again, as plenty from across the village took part in the celebrations.
Running from Saturday, June 22 to Sunday, June 30, favourite events including the Welwyn 10k around Panshanger Park, The Oscars and Open Gardens made a return, all in aid of local charities.
There were some new additions too, such as a Where’s Wally game for the children and the first ever community cricket match.
"Without the support and very generous donations from sponsors, the local community and volunteers this event would not be what it is," said a spokesperson from the Welwyn Festival Committee
"A significant number of man hours go into making the festival what it is and that it is greatly enjoyed by the thousands of people who attend the main events."
