Members of Welwyn Hatfield Inter Faith Group came together to celebrate their 20th anniversary at the Focolare Centre on June 20.
The group was founded with the aim of promoting the voices of faith groups as a force for good, showcasing "unity in diversity" and proving that "standing side by side we could achieve great things".

With peace fragile in many parts of the world, the group sees unity between faiths as "vitally important".
In a speech at the celebration, Mayor Frank Marsh said: "Welwyn Hatfield Interfaith have created myriad opportunities for the faith groups in the borough to meet by promoting discussions between them leading to greater understanding, tolerance and respect.
"Many social occasions have also been organised resulting in firm friendships being formed."
